BELLINI

Restaurants are spaces where comfort, intimacy, and atmosphere naturally converge to create meaningful moments. In this historic Antwerp corner house, nestled in the picturesque Cogels Osylei neighbourhood, we embraced the challenge of blending preservation with modern functionality.

To achieve optimal acoustics while retaining the charm of the original mouldings, we introduced an acoustic spray ceiling that enhances sound quality without compromising intricate architectural details. Thoughtfully integrated lighting preserves the integrity of the walls and ceilings, avoiding invasive alterations.

A strategically placed mirror performs a dual role—visually expanding the space to create a sense of openness while also serving as an elegant menu feature.

The dark blue walls heighten the restaurant’s intimate ambience, allowing the original pink fireplace to emerge as a striking focal point. Finally, low-hanging grapevine accents over the tables add the finishing touch, infusing the space with a warm, Neapolitan charm.
